Common questions
The price of a decal is determined by size (number of each decals per sheet), quantity, and number of colours contained in the design. Different effects can also add further layers to the printing process and can also affect the price.
All our decals for appliances are applied manually. Soak the decal, remove from the water, and allow to water to penetrate the gum. Once the gum is fluid the decal is removed from the carrier paper and placed onto the piece. It is then allowed to dry, once dry the decal is baked to 150 degrees and then the carrier coating removed leaving the image adhered perfectly to surface.
As decals for white goods are likely to be cold decals (organic decals), there is a wide variety of colours available. Vivid fluorescents, CMYK halftone printing, hot-foils and even glow in the dark effects.
